Rhinoplasty Before and After Photos in Miami, FL, patient 315

This is a complicated primary rhinoplasty case of a female patient with congenital (from birth) nostril asymmetry. Her chief concerns were her nostril asymmetry, overall nasal width, and her bulbous tip. On her profile view, she desired a more upturned tip. On her examination she was found to have nostril cartilages which were significantly different in shape. Her procedure entailed the narrowing of her bridge and the repositioning of her nasal tip cartilages. Her nasal tip cartilages were found to be markedly different in shape. Lower lateral crural strut grafts were used to reposition her nasal tip cartilages and to help create more symmetry. Simple suturing techniques would not have sufficed in this case given the congenital cartilage differences. The repositioning of her cartilages helped to refine and narrow her tip while creating symmetry between the two sides.
