Procedure Description:
Pre-operative and post-operative results of a revision facelift and upper eyelid blepharoplasty. The patient’s neck bands are caused from her platysma muscle which is the fan-shaped muscle in the neck. As we age the muscle begins to show underneath the skin of the neck. She had a previous facelift approximately 10 years prior to the most recent procedure. The platysmal bands were addressed by an incision underneath her chin and by a platysmaplasty, whereby the muscle bands are cut and sutured together.
