Procedure Description:
Patient with nasal obstruction, significant nostril asymmetry, and over-projected nose. Was noted to have a caudal septal deviation on examination. The entire nose was de-projected—tip and bridge—to give a more aesthetic profile alignment. Attention should be paid to the upper lip and columella relationship. The columella was made more apparent and less hidden from the profile view to give the upper lip and lower nose angle a better relationship. Post-operatively the base view shows greatly improved nostril symmetry with resolution of the breathing obstruction.
